To address an expected surge of vehicles associated with a large scale development currently under construction in the Town of Claremont at 1 Airlie Street (The Grove Residences), Council resolved to implement temporary parking restrictions in East Cottesloe (from Forrest Street to Eric Street, including the railway reserve) at the October Council Meeting. These measures are being put in place so that our residents are not adversely impacted from any influx of vehicles during construction.
Signage has been installed in East Cottesloe and a two hour parking restriction will apply to vehicles that do not display a permit. Two hour parking restrictions are in place from Monday to Saturday, 7am to 5pm. East Cottesloe residents can park on-street without restriction with the appropriate permit displayed.
For any questions regarding the temporary parking restrictions or permit application process please contact the Town’s Coordinator of Ranger and Compliance Services on
9285 5000.
