A Work Zone Permit (WZP) is designed to aid the efficient and safe operation of construction, maintenance or related activities that have the potential to obstruct part of a public thoroughfare within the Town of Cottesloe.

A permit application should be submitted where it is not feasible for all works/activity to be accommodated within private property.

Applications must be submitted at least 7 working days prior to commencement of works. Permits are valid for a maximum of 14 days.

I understand all work must be carried out in accordance with the approved conditions and as the permit holder I agree to abide by the conditions stated on the permit.
I accept the applicable fees associated with this application (Work Zone Application Fee, Work Zone Extension Application Fee, Work Zone Reissue (amendment) Fee, Parking Bay Hire (per car bay per day/ week/ fortnight), Traffic Management Plan Assessment Fee.
I understand that this application needs to be assessed and payment received prior to the permit being issued.
I understand that a Work Zone Permit does NOT exempt applicant vehicles to park contrary to the Parking and Parking Facilities Local Law 2009.
I understand that a Work Zone Permit will be valid for 14 consecutive days or 28 consecutive days, if an extension is applied for with the original application. Applicants with 14 day permits can request one 14 day extension prior to the existing work permit expiring. A Work Zone Permit is valid for a maximum of 28 days; thereafter a new Work Zone Permit Application must be submitted.
I understand that a Traffic Management Plan is required for any work that causes or has the potential to cause disruption, harm or injury to workers, road users and the general public.
I accept that a Work Zone Bond may be payable at the discretion of the Town's Compliance Officer.
