Dog Owner's Responsibilities

When you are out and about in public places with your four legged friend, they must be on a lead at all times, except when you are at a designated off-lead dog exercise area. For the safety of others, owners must have their dogs under effective control at all times. This is an obligation under the Dog Act 1976 and failure to do so can result in a $200 infringement for the person in control of the dog at the time.

Please be a responsible dog owner and keep your dog on a lead.
