Public Event Applications

 

The Town of Cottesloe requires an application form for minor (less than 500 people) events to be submitted 60 days prior to the event. All other event applications must be submitted at least six months prior to the event.

The below flowchart steps through the Concert or Public Event process:

Liaise with Events Officer on the details of the proposed event

The Events Officer will respond to the Event Enquiry and usually phone the event organiser to find out more information.

Submit an Event Application Form

The Events Officer will inform you when to complete a formal Event Application.

Event Application Form

Submission of an application form does not automatically imply approval. Applications are not confirmed until payment has been received and a conditional approval letter has been issued.

Please note that Council approval will be required for most public events.

Full payment of event charges and bond payable

Please refer to the current Fees and Charges, as approved by Council for the subject financial year. 

Confirmed event, subject to fulfilment of event conditions

Most concert or public event applications will require you to submit further applications for permits/ licences/ approvals/ access to other departments across the business, dependent on the specifics of your event. Refer to the Applicant Documentation section below for more information. 

Event held

The event site will be inspected by the Town to ensure compliance with all plans and applications and the final certificate issued.

Event de-brief

The event organiser and Town will share feedback on the entire process and event.

The Bond Refund Form must only be submitted following the event.
