War Memorial and Lounge

The historic War Memorial Hall forms part of the main Civic Centre building in Broome Street. The hall has stunning jarrah wood details.  Adjacent to the hall is the Blue Lounge area which holds basic kitchen facilities and private toilets.

The capacity for the War Memorial Hall and Lounge combined is up to 120 people. External catering is permitted.

Hire includes:

  • Basic kitchen use
  • Bathrooms 
  • 80 chairs and 8 tables
  • Lecturn

Fees and Charges

    RATE
    Weddings / Private Functions / Commercial (minimum 3 hour booking) $ 450 per hour
    Community $ 225 per hour
    Bond  $ 1000 
    Piano bond  $ 200 

    Wet Weather Back-up (equivalent to 1 hour hire)
    only available if other Civic Centre venues have been booked for a minimum of 3 hours

    Tentative bookings can not be made. Please complete an application form, bookings are secured on full payment which includes the bond and hire fee. The Town of Cottesloe cannot take any bookings more than 12 months ahead.
    Any applications submitted for a date later than 12 months ahead will not be processed.
