The Town encourages our community to look out for BEN signs when going to the beach, and to take note of the BEN signs where you are. BEN stands for Beach Emergency Numbers – unique codes which identify specific sections of the beach and help first responders find you in emergency situations.
In addition, the SharkSmart WA app can help plan your beach outings with near real-time information of shark activity including current alerts and warnings. Download the SharkSmart WA app from the App Store or Google Play. For any shark sightings please call the Water Police immediately on 9442 8600.
