Works were carried out in 2018 to stabilise the pylon below the water. Further work is required to restore the bell shaped top, as well as ongoing upkeep and maintenance. We are encouraging our fellow West Australians to help us conserve the heritage-listed pylon so that it can remain the historic landmark that it has been for many years.
A National Trust WA Cottesloe Pylon Restoration Appeal has been established to make a donation. Anyone wishing to make a contribution towards the pylon appeal can do so by sending a cheque or money order made payable to the Town of Cottesloe and sent to PO Box 606, Cottesloe, WA 6911.
We are very grateful for all donations received and thank you for joining us to ensure that future generations can enjoy this quintessential feature of Cottesloe Beach.
