The Town has received an application to use and/or develop land for residential aged care and retirement living development.

The proposal comprises 78 Independent Living Units and 129 Residential Aged Care rooms, providing accommodation and personal or nursing care for aged residents, including recreational, health, laundry and catering facilities. The aged care precinct will also be supported by a variety of essential community facilities and services incidental to the aged care uses.

This development application has been submitted in accordance with Council's adopted Local Planning Policy No. 2 and Local Planning Scheme No. 3 requirements.
