Solar Powering Cottesloe
Solar Powering Cottesloe Council
In January 2013, the Town sucessfully completed the installation of a 15kW Solar Power system, with the help of Enigin WA. A couple of months later the installation has already significantly reduced the amount of electricity we need to purchase. This in turn reduces Council-related emissions and the financial cost to Council. This is a long term investment in reducing our impact on the environment.

The 'inverter':

As a 15kW system, the panels can potentially generate a up to 15kW at a time. On its first day in operation, our system was already generating 11.13kW, at 9:30 in the morning!
