The Town is currently seeking applications from experienced, motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our Customer Service Officer - Casual Pool.

About the Opportunity

As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and, both internal and external stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service across a wide range of queries and services.

This is a pool position, providing opportunities for casual employment at our Civic Centre, across various shifts between the hours of 8.30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.

You will assist with a broad range of customer service duties, including:

  • Answering phone calls, emails, assisting with general enquiries.
  • Processing payments.
  • Providing information about Council services.
  • Providing administration support to the Town.

About you

The following selection criteria is essential for the role:

  • Experience in a similar role including cash handling.
  • Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with an excellent telephone manner.
  • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Organisational and time management skills.
  • Data entry experience.
  • Evidence of Australian working rights.
