The WA Deaf Institute offers a range of services for the Deaf community, not only in Cottesloe but around the Metro area.

Classes for sign language are also available here at the Cottesloe Branch.

Shine Community Services receives funding from the Health Department through the Home and Community Care Program (HACC), and from the four Combined Councils or Cottesloe, Claremont, Mosman Park and Peppermint Grove. The program provides funding to support a wide range of basic maintenance services to assist people who need support to continue to live in the community.

Eligibility is directed at people who live independently who are aged, or younger people with disabilities, and carers of both groups.

Services include; domestic assistance, personal care, respite, a social club, shopping bus, transport, social support, podiatry, gardening, outings, and a range of social events.

Located at 81 Forrest Street, Cottesloe (cnr Railway and Forrest). All clients accessing services require a screening assessment.
