Committees and Working Groups

Council advertises for community representative vacancies on Council Committees and Advisory Groups to coincide with the Local Government election cycle, with Council occasionally making appointments outside this process in line with strategic needs.

Committees are established by Council under the Local Government Act 1995 (the Act) and the relevant Regulations.

The Town of Cottesloe has a number of advisory and working groups that meet to primarily provide ideas and feedback in their specific areas of responsibility.
