Join the Town of Cottesloe and Western Metropolitan Regional Council for a Plastic Free July workshop.

Come along on Wednesday, 3 July at 10 to 11:30am in the Lesser Hall at Cottesloe Civic Centre and learn how to make beeswax wraps and a bag made from an old t-shirt!

This is a fun family-friendly school holiday event. Tickets are $5 (plus booking fee) with refreshments provided. Children under 16 are free!

How it will work

  • 10am - 10.20am: Plastic Free July presentation by WMRC officers
  • 10.20am - 11.30am: DIY Workshop making beeswax wraps and produce bags

If you'd like to make a custom beeswax wrap, please bring the bowl or dish you'd like to cover. 

Please bring a clean t-shirt to make a DIY produce bag - spares will be provided.

Spaces are limited. If you can no longer make this event, please let us know at least one day in advance.
