Cottesloe Skate park Project

Construction of the Cottesloe Skate park is underway!

In March 2023 the Town of Cottesloe announced that it was successful in its application for funding from Lotterywest, securing a $743,900 grant, which is expected to cover the full cost of the skate park.

Following the successful grant application, the Town advertised a design and construct tender for the skate park, which was awarded at a Special Council Meeting held in May 2023 to PHASE3 Landscape Construction, a Perth based landscape architecture and design firm. PHASE3 Landscape Construction developed concept plans and construction drawings for the skate park, which were presented to and adopted by Council.

The Cottesloe skate park includes a bowl, a plaza area, a hang-out area and a pump track.

The Town will continue to work with Cottesloe Coastcare and Perth NRM on the revegetation of John Black Dune Park. Staged revegetation will include planting native and waterwise plants around the skate park, providing additional public open space for the community.
